Unfortunately, Villa Sobrante will not be on this year's tour after all. An open trench through part of the yard which has to stay open longer than originally planned and other projects in process make it impossible for them to accommodate visitors on Sunday.

On this quarter-acre plot, the owners are implementing and learning about living systems, growing food, and building with natural materials both to retrofit existing structures and to add new ones. A variety of natural building methods can be seen.
