On just over half an acre, this shared home has a CA native plant landscaped garden (2 years on the Bringing Back the Natives tour), rainwater catchment, a laundry greywater system, hens, rabbits, worms, multiple compost bins, bioswales, raspberry, blueberry and boysenberry patches, citrus, nut and fruit trees, herbs, perennial and annual vegetables. Plans are in place for a bee hive (colony arriving in 2011) next year. Designed using Permaculture ethics and principles.

Kombucha starter will be available to anyone who brings a very clean glass jar with lid. Karen is happy to give basic instructions on keeping/making kombucha.
